About the Film
Prairie Prophecy tells the story of Wes Jackson, a visionary scientist, storyteller, and pioneer of “natural systems agriculture.” Through rare archival footage, reflections from collaborators, and breathtaking prairie landscapes, the film traces Jackson’s journey from his modest Kansas upbringing to his groundbreaking work transforming agriculture at its roots.

More than a tribute, Prairie Prophecy is a call to action. As climate challenges intensify, Jackson’s ideas offer a roadmap to a future where sustainable agriculture is not just possible, but essential for life on Earth.
