Advancing Conservation in the Field: PRM Hosts MWD at Avocado Farm in Fallbrook, CA
PRM welcomed the Metropolitan Water District (MWD) to Harold’s Farm for a hands-on field tour focused on water conservation, soil health, and real-world agricultural outcomes.
The visit blended on-the-ground exploration with practical discussion—moving from navigating the farm’s steep terrain to harvesting avocados—before closing with a deeper look at how the PRM BIOS program supports healthier, more resilient crops.
Field observations made the impact clear. Trees supported by the PRM BIOS program are showing strong new growth, while nearby control areas exhibit significantly less activity. The contrast offered visible, real-time evidence of how biological soil management can influence plant vitality and long-term resilience.
These early indicators reinforce what BIOS is designed to do: improve soil function, enhance water efficiency, and strengthen crop performance under real farming conditions.
